Welcome to the FAQ section of Meine Handpan – here we answer the most common questions about our instruments, orders, and our service.
1. How long does delivery of my handpan take?
Our handpans are carefully packed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
Delivery time within Germany is usually 5–7 business days (Monday–Friday).
The total time from order to delivery is therefore 6–9 business days.
2. Is shipping free?
Yes, shipping within Germany is completely free.
There are no hidden fees or minimum order values.
3. Where do you deliver?
Currently, we deliver exclusively to Germany.
However, we are working to offer deliveries to more EU countries in the future.
4. Which payment methods do you accept?
With us, you can pay securely with:

All payments are processed through encrypted and verified payment services.
5. Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes – as long as your order has not yet been shipped, you can cancel or change it.

6. How does the return process work?
You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal after receiving your order.
We accept returns for both defective and perfect products.
Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer (except for defective items).

7. When will I receive my refund?
After receipt and inspection of your return, the refund will be processed within 7 days via the original payment method.
8. How do I properly care for my handpan?
Maintain your handpan regularly to preserve its unique sound:

Wipe the surface with a soft, dry, or slightly oily cloth.

Store it in a dry, temperate place.

Avoid moisture, extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight.

Use special handpan oil if needed (e.g., Phoenix Oil).
9. Can I play my handpan outdoors?
Yes, of course!
However, make sure to avoid direct sun and rain.
For outdoor playing, a case or bag is recommended for protection.
10. What happens if my handpan arrives damaged?
If your instrument is damaged during transport, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
We take care of the free replacement or refund.
11. Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, every handpan comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Damage caused by improper use is excluded.
12. Do you offer tuning service (retuning)?
Yes – if your handpan goes slightly out of tune over time, you can contact us.
We help you forward the instrument to a qualified workshop.
13. Can I try a handpan before I buy?
Since we are an online shop, this is currently not possible.
However, we offer video and audio recordings of our instruments so you can experience sound and tuning realistically.
14. Do you have a physical store?
No, Meine Handpan is a pure online shop.
This allows us to ensure fair prices and direct customer service.
